Family Dentistry

Protecting the smiles of patients for over 30 years, our Doctors are skilled Toronto dentists offering complete dental care for the entire family. Whether you are 3 or 93, we will customize a dental plan that makes sense for you.

Dental Fillings

When you come in for your filling appointment, our Doctors will first remove the unwanted decay in your tooth, clean the damaged area, and then insert the filling material into your cavity. Fillings and cavity treatment are a common dental procedure done at Bathurst Walk In Dental, and we have had years of experience with, so you’re definitely in good hands!.

Dentures & Partial Dentures

Dentures are a treatment option for cases of missing teeth. They are artificial replacements that are custom fit to replace your tooth comfortably according to your specific oral structure.

Gum Disease

Our mouths are full of bacteria. Bacteria, along with food particles forms a sticky film called Plaque (tartar).Brushing and flossing help remove most of the Plaque. If all the Plaque is not removed, it hardens and forms a substance called Calculus. Only a professional cleaning by a Dentist or Dental Hygienist can remove Calculus. If Plaque and Calculus are not removed, they can lead to Periodontal (Gum) Disease.

Orthodontics

If you have crooked teeth and/or a misaligned bite (an underbite or overbite), there are a variety of treatments that can help straighten teeth, including braces and retainers.

Dental Crowns & Bridges

Dental bridges fill the gap created by one or more missing teeth. A bridge is made up of two crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap. The two anchoring teeth are called Abutment teeth and a false tooth/teeth is placed in between. These false teeth are called pontics. They can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, ceramic, or other materials.

Dental Implants

For years dental bridges or dentures were the popular solutions for restoring missing teeth due to tooth decay, periodontal disease or injury. Although great for filling gaps, these solutions tend to give discomfort, unnatural appearance in your smile, and require continual replacements. Dental implants, however, are a more permanent alternative that blends seamlessly with your natural smile and provides full tooth functionality without discomfort or inconvenience.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Our goal is to make your smile as healthy and beautiful as possible. Modern dentistry allows us to maintain and enhance your smile, keeping it the source of confidence, it deserves to be.

Cleaning

Dental hygiene is an important component of dental as well as overall health. At our office we give a lot of importance to dental hygiene

Porcelain Veneers

Dental veneers (sometimes called porcelain veneers or dental porcelain laminates) are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your appearance.

Closing Spaces (Diastemas)

A lot of times a gap between your teeth can be quite unsightly or leave you with a feeling of having an imperfect smile. Do you have a gap between your teeth? Then you have what we call in dental terms a “diastema”. The term “diastema” is most commonly applied when discussing the space between your two front upper teeth.

Teeth Whitening

We are very excited to offer our patients a one of a kind program called Free Whitening. Each patient is entitled to one free session of whitening once a year. This ensures that you will be able to keep your teeth white, bright and beautiful for life!

Cosmetic Bonding

Tooth bonding is the application of a tooth-coloured resin material using adhesives and a high intensity curing light. The procedure gets its name because materials are bonded to the tooth. Often, bonding is used as a cosmetic alternative to amalgam fillings, or to protect a portion of the tooth’s root that has been exposed when gums recede.

Gum Recontouring

Lasers or other methods are used in many medical professions for procedural purposes including dentistry. With the highly concentrated light beams, our Doctors utilize this tool to remove tissue in small increments, reshape the gums, and even whiten teeth.

General Dentistry

We recognize that your smile is more than simply beautiful teeth and gums. A truly beautiful and healthy smile is revealed when there is a balance and harmony among the components that are needed to produce it. In addition to creating aesthetically pleasing smiles, our team focuses on the overall health of your mouth and truly giving you a reason to smile.

Root Canal Therapy

A Root Canal is a treatment to repair and save a badly damaged or infected tooth instead of removing it. Our Experienced team incorporate modern techniques to achieve high success results.

Tooth Colored Fillings

Composite (tooth coloured) or white fillings are used to restore teeth that have been damaged by decay back to their natural shape and healthy oral function.

Closing Spaces (Diastemas)

Many treatment options are available for closing diastemas including orthodontics or restorative treatment.

Snoring Sleep Apnea

There are anti-snoring devices that are available for our patients to help reduce snoring and improve night breathing.

Mouth Guards

A Mouth Guard is a protective appliance worn during high impact activities. This appliance minimizes any injury to the teeth during sports. It also protects the TMJ. This can reduce the occurrence of a concussion.

Grinding Appliances

A Night Guard is a piece of thin plastic "U" shaped appliance. It is usually recommended when patients grind or clench their teeth. Sometimes excessive grinding or clenching can cause tension in the muscles surrounding the jaw, head and neck areas. This can result in discomfort in the TMJ and also recurrent headaches. Excessive grinding can also result in chipping, fracture, wear, loosening or sensitivity of teeth.
